2PM performed their song "I Hate You" on Mnet's M! Countdown for the last time and won first place again.
They will be closing promotions on the 19th, which really makes me sad. But looking at the wins they've bagged for their album 2:00PM Time for Change, it changes all that and makes me feel rather proud.
Because it was their last performance before their promotions closed, the boys decided that instead of telling their Hottest fans, "I Hate You"!, they decided to perform their hit song "Again & Again", and for the first time ever on stage, "I Might Come Back".
Hidden message understood, boys. ;)
Though.. I did feel that it was a bad transition between the two songs. :X
(Does anyone realise that Khun doesn't have a part on You Might Come Back? He was the only person not carrying a mic throughout the whole YMCB song, but had a mic in his hands when they transitioned to Again & Again. Aw..)
They should've promoted You Might Come Back along with I Hate You and Again & Again. Its SUCH a good song and I always listen to it (okay fine I listen to all 2PM songs) on my iPod.

It looks like it will be funny. Well, which show featuring or starring 2PM would NOT be funny, you tell me? Given the boys' charismatic and hilarious personalities. Now I shall eagerly await Wild Bunnies to be out.
2NE1's maknae Minzy has decided to drop out of high school.
She will be taking her qualification exams later, just like what Daesung of Big Bang did.
Well, I guess its a good thing cuz now she can totally focus on 2NE1's activities. Being sort of a new group, they'll naturally be terribly busy with appearances on TV etc. Its not like she can't go back and take her examinations again just because she's stopped schooling.
Then again, its so tough for all these celebrities cuz they have to work so hard at balancing school work and their celebrity activities.

The One Day boys twit!
I just HAD to follow the 2PM boys + Jo Kwon (from 2AM) yesterday night before going to sleep. Its really boring as for now, Khun's the only one who updated his Twitter. Then again, he has only updated it once. Despite the little (or in this case, none at all) updates from the boys, they have at least a thousand followers.
We shall await the boys' Tweets with anticipation. Can't imagine how many girls (including Yours Truly) has been checking their Twitter pages.. hmm..
2PM's Wooyoung and Taecyeon for SBS Inkigayo (Yes, fans everywhere, REJOICE.)
It is said that Wooyoung and Taec, along with the new actress Ha Yeon Joo, will take over Eun Ji Won, F.T Island's Lee Hongki, and Yoo Seol Ah as the new MCs for SBS Inkigayo.
This is not surprising (to me) at all really, as the boys' both have so much charisma and are funny on-screen. Not that hosting Inkigayo needs them to be funny.. but you get the point. Not too sure about Ha Yeon Joo, though.

Eun Ji Won, Lee Hongki and Yoo Seol Ah will make their last appearance on SBS Inkigayo on the 19th.

Vocalist and dancer. Nichkhun is half Thai, half Chinese. He was studying abroad in California, and was scouted by a JYP talent agent while he was at the Korean Music Festival with his Korean friends at L.A. (He said during the It's Time 2PM interview that he couldn't sing nor dance at the time)
NAME: 이준호 / Lee Junho BIRTHDAY: 25th January, 1990 (19 internationally, 20 in Korea)
ALSO KNOWN AS: the Next Rain, Small-eyes (known for).
Lead dancer and main vocalist. Junho signed a contract with JYP after winning 1st place in a contest called Superstar Survival (held by JYP Entertainment) in 2006.
NAME: 김준수 / Kim Junsu BIRTHDAY: 15th January, 1988 (21 internationally, 22 in Korea)
Lead vocalist and dancer. Junsu originally auditioned for YG Entertainment (2NE1, Big Bang). Often recognised as the lead vocalist of 2PM as he has great vocals.
NAME: 옥택연 / Ok Taecyeon BIRTHDAY: 27th December, 1988 (1988-12-27)(20 internationally, 21 in Korea)
ALSO KNOWN AS: Taec, Oktaekbar/Oktaekbal, Ok Kittycat, Ok Cat, Chaneuee hyung
Main rapper and vocalist Taec was born in Seoul, Korea, but migrated to Boston, Massachusetts at a young age and was raised there. Originally auditioned to be a model.
Maknae/magnae (youngest in the group), rapper, vocalist and dancer. Chansung starred in the sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick", and is the youngest member of 2PM (a.k.a. maknae).
Okay wow this took me a long time, but as you can see, Khun's picture isn't from the Save Energy song as during the time he was still in Thailand helping with a tourism thing there.
2PM went there recently to accept their positions as ambassadors for the "I Love Thailand" campaign from the Prime Minister of Thailand himself.
Guess Khun decided to stay back for a while.
I've not blogged about that but I guess I will soon enough. Tomorrow, tomorrow. Give me some time to catch some Zzzs for school tomorrow- it will be one HORRIBLE day people!

Wrote and drew these free-handed yesterday night (or to be precise, this morning) after doing some work. I know the back of the foolscap with the 2PM logo is weird.. the '2' is a tad bit off. Oh well, I'd say its pretty good.
I spent today's Chinese lesson seated beside my friend from Korea and we were singing 2PM songs throughout the lesson. I envy Koreans! Cuz they can listen to Korean songs and know the lyrics and what it means.
Yeah I know, I think I'm rather stupid to have said/typed that out but still.. envious!
He also has the name Wooyoung (but he's a Kim, oh so sad!), so yeah I must put a JANG infront of the name Wooyoung from now onwards if I ever want to talk about 2PM's JANG Wooyoung cuz he was making a fuss out of it, which was very funny.
Listening to SNSD's Genie again today (after days of spamming my iPod's "2PM" playlist), I realised I still haven't lost the shudder I get whenever Taeyeon hits her long notes and at the start.

And its not in a bad way. Their voices are so good and its precisely why I get the shiver-me-timbers. Then again, their 'live' performances are not as good, which is always the case. The others do not have voices as strong and good as Fany or our girl power leader? Maybe so.
I ever came across this comment about the entertainment companies and their selections on Youtube:
-YG picks the best singers and dancers, not caring too much about looks. Thats why its so hard to get into YG.
-JYP picks people whom have the potential. As most celebrities get overwhelmed by the benefits of being one, they start to drink, go clubbing etc., JYP selects people who he knows would not be like that.. (I THINK it was something like that.)
-SM picks average singers and average dancers who have looks. Thats why its so easy to get into SM.
I think its pretty true. But SM's artistes are extremely good in dancing too, no? SHINee, Super Junior, DBSK??? Voice on the other hand I will have to agree. Once you see them 'live', it just takes your perception of the perfect singer away by a bit..
But its A BIT.
Watched a lot of Star King videos on Youtube with 2PM in it, and continued with Hot Blood, the amazing show featuring 2AM and 2PM, showcasing their teamwork and love for each other.
For all 2PM fans, watching Hot Blood would show our lovely ONEDAY boys in a totally different light. It may be all play and all fun when they're on variety shows, but when they were trainees they had to put in so much effort. Thats why most fans say the limelight they're getting now is something they deserve for practising so hard.
And also, you can't help but tear when the producers of the show had to eliminate the 3 weakest people in the group.
Chansung and Nichkhun tearing so badly.. Chansung speaking up for JoKwon and the other two who were almost sent home.. it was really touching. Not a single eye was dry in their room when the 3 boys were picked out.
Thank goodness the boys asked the people to give them another chance, and they were hugging each other.. it just warms my heart.

I wonder what SNSD would be like if they had 11 memebers instead of their current 9. No wonder SNSD is Super Junior's supposed female version, taking in the fact that Suju has 13 members.
This blog was started by me so that I could blog about anything K-Pop related whenever it.. erm.. pops into my mind (get it? K-Pop? Pops into mind? POP?). Previously all the k-pop ranting would be done on my personal blog but people were getting tired of seeing me go "KYAAAA~! CHOI MINHO!" or "OMO, 2PM!! EGAD!" and so on there, so I decided to blog less there and more here since my life is currently so 'entwined' with K-Pop right now.
